We are the girls who fell for the villain and the virgin. The alien and the hobbit. These are the men who are NOT heart throbs, they posses little of society’s “beauty”. Our first thoughts of them were not those of lust, but of awe. Their performances brought life to a character, something that was flat on a screen. They made us crave more with their words, their body language, their mastery of their art. We find them beautiful because of their talent, they way they transform from a person to a thing of legends. We grow to love the oddness of their bodies and faces, we ignore their age- for that age has led to mastery of their art.

Whoever says Tom Hiddleston is odd looking and not classically beautiful must have their head stuck in the sand.

I’m not saying that his handsomeness diminishes his acting, but ignoring it is silly. No one enjoys Tom Hiddleston’s acting despite the way he looks. Yes, he has a black wig and plays a villain in a few movies, but that does not mean he can’t be traditionally handsome and talented.
